  • Applications are due April 28, 2023. If your session is approved, all session materials and presentations are due by July 10, 2023. If you miss this deadline, VWC has the right to cancel your session.
  • If your proposed topic is not directly related to legislation, case law, or published rules and regulations, and you would like to get Continuing Legal Education Credit, your materials must include an explanation of why an attorney with a Workers' Compensation practice needs to know the information to provide effective counsel. Keep in mind- those in the Workers' Compensation system may understand the connection, but the reviewers at the state bar are not always familiar with the scope of what a Workers' Compensation attorney is expected to know.
  • Final materials must include full details, so that attendees can refer back to the information without needing to take notes. An outline will not be approved for CLE, you will be required to submit a full presentation upon presenter acceptance.
  • You must adhere to submission deadlines in order for the Commission to submit materials for CEU & CLE consideration and approval. Additional details may be requested with a need for quick turnaround during the approval process.
  • In addition to this guide for CEU/CLE, please review our full Guidelines section here.
